Possible Mast Cell Tumour

Thank you again . Neither us of had much sleep last night and this morning seems like groundhog day . Poor lad is looking hopefully at his food bowl on the worktop, bless his heart . We will be taking him in for 8.30 and then I will try to keep busy, not easy . We are doing our best to keep positive thoughts going , thank you xxx

Just dropped him off at the Vets . He did make me smile , here I am worried sick and he ? Well he burst through the door like ` Ta Da ` here I am ladies , now crash the treats please  I had a good chat with Sue the Vet who is operating , she has put my mind at rest in many ways , so off he went with her , happy as a sand boy, tail wagging off the scale whilst I have come home in bits but safe in the knowledge that Reuben is in the best possible hands xxx

He is awake, a bit woozy but has coped well and we can bring him home in about an hour and a half , Sue says that whilst the lump did appear to be tiny , it was deep and so for this reason she has taken very wide margins which will all go off to the Laboratory today for grading , results in about a week to ten days . Reuben cannot tolerate NSAI drugs so has been on paracetamol by drip and he will have some to bring home , stitches out in 10-14 days . I will drag a mattress into the sitting room and stay with him for a night or two or three xxxx
