Our "little" Primrose is 16 weeks old today! At some point since last night, she has lost her two front teeth (attempting to get a picture if we can!). She has grown a ton - she will be weighed and get her last shots tomorrow morning and then she will be released on the world!! She is a fearless and curious little thing - leaped into the lake after Quinn on the weekend (and got quite a shock at the frigid April water temps) and swam like a natural.
In 8 weeks, she has settled in really well and has gotten the hang of our daily life. Still working on biting which is calming down a bit. She has definitely ruined more clothes, household items and caused more skin damage than Quinn ever did!! She is still extremely greedy and will gulp her dinner/treat/kong and go crazy trying to get Quinn's so have been managing with crating Prim and her food is in puzzle games/snuffle mat/kongs. She is so fast at kongs and puzzle toys - she figures them out quickly, I have no idea how I will keep her busy when she's 6months +. She also doesn't just pick up weird things - she swallows. Stuffing from toys, rocks, dandelions (as many as she can) - whatever she can get. She has a pretty good 'drop' already, but it's going to be rough being diligent with that once we get out and about.
The relationship between her and Quinn is more that I ever expected already - Quinn loves her. Quinn wakes her up from naps by nudging her or dropping a toy on her. She plays so nicely with her - they have a fun chase game around items in the yard and take turns being chaser/chasee. She is very concerned if she cries. I wish Quinn was slightly less of a pushover - she gives up anything if Prim wants it. She has her boundaries though - at night, Quinn goes upstairs with OH to sleep (Primrose stays with me for another hour or so and then sleeps in her crate) and has no time for puppies when she's getting in a ball game. Every morning Primrose is up 1-2 hours before Quinn and OH and I take turns getting up early - I thought she was crying for me, but she has been crying for Quinn to wake up the last couple weeks!!
