Puppy food

Stanley came home with a bag of Platinum puppy kibble which we have kept him on. This last week he’s had soft runny poop. I’ve given him probiotic but it’s not made a lot of difference. Homer was sensitive to chicken based kibble, but I only changed when he was a bit older. I think I could try changing Stanley’s food to a non chicken kibble.
Which brands of puppy food have you used?
Are there any good quality puppy foods that don’t contain chicken?
Do I need to keep him on puppy food?

I was persuaded to try Millies Wolfheart and she has been perfect on that, it is 50% duck, but there are many different recipes, give them a ring. Flicka came to me on rubbish dog food £16 a sack! I put her on James Wellbeloved Lamb and Rice puppy but still her poos were like cow pats. Millies Wolfheart results in perfect poos.

I've used millies wolfheart for Rory since he was a pup. They don't do a pup food they just scale their normal food for a pup. It really helped Rory and he is still fine on it now. It has no grain chicken or eggs. Their website has a date food query line. You can email or phone

Another advocate for Millies Wolfheart - it's worth looking at their website I think. There is a wide choice, so you might need to speak to them.
I keep a bag by me as backup for the raw that I feed Cass.
Cotswold Raw do puppy food if you want to go down that route.
