Puppy Sitting Again

I've had more exercise in 6 hours than I've had in the past 6 days
Ah yes, when I was in Cornwall with baby Squidge, I stuffed myself silly with cream teas, but didn't put on an ounce because PUPPY! It helped that with it being an upside-down house, every time she needed to go out, I had to carry her down the stairs and then back up again :D

Well my day so far.....

All the smaller patio pots are now on the patio table because in a "quiet" moment (always a mistake to ignore a quiet moment) Nina unplanted several fuchsias and relocated them to the floor of the utility room.

I've decided to just let her play with the gardening gloves and an old shoe.

I've given up keeping her off the furniture. Dug out all the furniture covers we had for Lady. We blocked her from behind the TV with all the wires by putting a coffee table in a strategic location. She can clear the coffee table without putting a paw on it.

Took her for her long walk after lunch but it became twice as long because the cattle came over and blocked the footbridge 500 yards from home so we had to walk all the way back! Hope she's ok because she's still only 6 months old or so and we did quite a lot more than 5 mins per month - like 3 times as much. On the plus side she's asleep. I honestly was starting to think that sleep was a condition that had been bred out of her!

On the plus side her recall is rock solid already and we have been working on her walking to heel with some success.

I am now going to have a cup of tea!

Sounds like an eventful day. I hope you manage to get a good nights sleep.
Hope you got a good sleep!
Yes we did - thanks. She's still using a crate and although she was a little bit reluctant to go in it, all was fine and she slept right through. She's lovely.
R would like a Cocker Spaniel really but I'd prefer another Lab. Compromise? A Cockador perhaps? :hungover:

My dog Walker has a Springador and he is absolutely lovely. He's playful but calms down really quickly. He looks like a lab, but just smaller.
