Well, I debated on posting this, but have been feeling a bit weird in thinking back on some of my advice and responses over the years and feel that even with our grand reveal, Quinn is still Quinn. I would feel dishonest not being open.
I just had to know after communication break down with breeder a couple years ago. OH suspected she wasn't all lab (he's had previous labs) as she got older. A friend sent me an article and I obsessed for 6 months and then ordered her a DNA test (I wasn't sure I cared to know) -an Embark test, which also tests for 170 genetic health issues and is considered the most accurate (according to the internet and Oprah). I got the results a few days ago, and even taken with a grain of salt, we were surprised to say the least.
Quinn is mostly lab, but is in fact part GOLDEN RETRIEVER (25percent) and SHAR-PEI (6 percent). We are shook!
So yeah, meet Quinn - the Goldador?
