I'm so very sorry Donna. Sending cyber hugs

I do apologise Kate for forgetting to thank you on here when I wrote my post thanking everyone for their kindness. I know you know my head was (still is) all over the place. I have some lovely photos of Sam and Dexter from those beautiful walks at Golitha Falls. Very special memories of our two special boys. Lots of love to you, Paul, Nell and Reuben xxxSome of you may remember Donna , she used to be an active member of the other forum as Newlabmum , she did join here but I cannot find her, I think her member name was Shortie ?
I had a sad phone call last night to say that Dexter had died of cancer, he was four years old . This was thankfully a very short illness, he became unwell just days before his diagnosis of cancer of the lungs, spleen and liver , almost unbelievable in such a fit looking young fox red Lab that he was . My happy memory of him is when they visited from Essex and Sam taught him the joys of water at Golitha Falls , rest easy dear boy xxx
Thank you Fiona. We have both been really struggling with loosing our boy. I guess the covid situation isn't helping plus the first anniversary of my dad passing away is coming up on 13th July. There's a massive void in our lives at the momentThanks for popping on, Donna, it's good to have you here; I just wish it weren't with such devastating news.
If you want to share pictures, stories, or any thoughts of your Dexter, then know that we're all here for you whenever you need. I know it can be tough to grieve "for too long" (by other people's perception) in the real world, but we know there's no time limit on it. So if the need strikes any time, be that today, next month, or a year from now, we'll be here to listen, laugh, or cry with you.
