He has a gorgeous huge blocky head, actually, although he is a big dog, he could do with losing a kg or two. He is naturally muscular, but woefully lacking in core strength and flexibility. Probably just due to lack of exercise. He is quite stunning, very affectionate and LOVES the Beanwood Gang. The photo honestly doesn't do him justice, he is a really stunning lad!

Wowsa and hubba hubba! :inlove: Another Irish lad who (to me as a Rottie lover) looks like he has a little 'something something' mixed in his lineage with that lovely blocky head. I know, I know, "that's just the way they grow them in Ireland" and he's all lab. And he's a cuddler too? You're perfectly named, aren't you, Romeo?

I'm glad they said in the description that he needs to go to a home with another dog (or dogs) as that takes me out of the running. And also I just had to turn my passport in for renewal so I'm passport-less for the next two weeks and couldn't abscond to the UK to kidnap him even if I wanted to. :wasntme:

Romeo had a good first night, sleeping on a comfy bed in the kitchen. Then an early start to the day with a quiet walk with just me. I let Romeo do his "thing" really, so a nice and relaxed sniff and bimble through the paddock. Then when home @Mr Beanwood took the rest of the gang out, giving me a few minutes gentle 1-1 in the house. with Romeo. This quiet time sets the tone for the day really and allows Romeo to start to process this big transition so early in his young life.

He must think he is in heaven. I wonder what they do think, his life has changed radically, do they have thoughts about the past, I am sure they must have, such a lot for a little man to go through.
