For pain med dosage, my understanding is one usually goes on weight. So, if you weigh double of what your dog weighs, give him half of what you’d give yourself.
With turmeric paste, there is no guideline for dose per weight. Rather, they say start with a little (1/4 tsp) and work up to a whole teaspoon. And little and often, cos it is effective when in the bloodstream, but it apparently is metabolized quickly. So, small doses four times per day. I only manage once per day for me and Snowie—too much else going on to remember other than at breakfast. But we usually have curry for supper, so I get it often enough! And Snowie loves licking the pot!
We’ve only managed to get a physio appointment for Snowie on 14 May! We’re holding out for the best physio that was recommended.
