Rourke Rest in Peace

Rourke was put to sleep this morning, he had ulcers on his hock and despite trying they would not heal. He was lamer as well. I am utterly devastated.

Thank you all for your support and kind words, they mean such a lot to me. I can't believe he has gone, I am dreading waking up tomorrow morning and the realisation hits. I haven't been without a dog for 50 years, Rourke was my companion, my love, I am not sure I can bear his loss, but know I will have to do so. x
