Shouldn't be counting my chickens but .....

On the not-leaping-on-furniture front, we put upturned stools on all the furniture we‘re not actually sitting on - so the pup’s habit becomes not going on furniture. It’s worked every time so far.

Thanks for the reminder. We also used an upturned coffee table with Lady with mixed success. We've got fitted dog covers for the sofas and armchairs so we'll have to put them back on too.

I actually WANT my dogs to jump on the furniture, so that one seems easy peasy. :giggl:

Sorry, couldn't resist. You'll do great and you've got lots of support if you get frustrated or stuck at any point.

Can't wait to hear how you get on...and maybe some photos when you're ready? :$

Poppy probably has a command to go up on work tops searching, so I am sure you will be fine as you won't tell her to do that!
And teach "off". It was weird with Carbon, because I taught him 'up' and 'off' for jumping on furniture, but by himself he decided to ask me if he can go up to begin with by putting his chin on things before he jumps up. A very polite Spanish gentleman.

Still not foolproof though as I must admit that he inexplicably jumped up on @Rosie 's coffee table the last time we were there: oops! :tmi:

Our PaH has very clean floors.
Hah, yes. We took Monty when he was tiny and he was a bit overwhelmed, OH picked up a rubber chicken and squeezed it, unbeknown tonus it was super loud and poor baby Monty let out a huge wee. The staff there are amazing though and help you to clear it up, and also helped us to pick up the right size puppy harness, taking them out of the packaging as needed. I'm ashamed to say Bear hasn't been into a PAH yet, I can't imagine the carnage :tmi:
