Snowie was attacked, but happily visited by HAT

So sorry about your kitty. That is horrendous.

Interesting @Oberon - what do they do? How visual are they?
They respond to dog attacks, police off-lead rules, operate an adoption shelter, return lost dogs.... Not very visible. I’ve only ever seen them when they responded to a dog attack we had (a woman let her Staffy into our yard through our driveway gate and it attacked our ducks...no fatalities fortunately but I too screamed a lot at the woman in question).

Yesterday we went back to the scene of the attack. I was quite nervous—about many things. Will those dogs be there? Will Snowie now be reactive to other dogs? Will he get attacked again?

I went earlier than usual, but that was because of a work meeting. It was empty! Just a few runners and cyclists and one dog we know well. Snowie was normal except that he was hyper-responsive to me. If I said his name he’d stop immediately and then trot back to me. On our way back we met an English bulldog that Snowie seemed a tad too interested in so I put him on the leash. Almost back at the car we met four regulars and their walker, two labs and two pugs. The young choc male adores Snowie, so it all ended well. I feel quite relieved! Oh, and the walker knew of Snowie’s attack. I love my small world!!

Below is where the attack took place. The path is completely obscured which is why I didn’t see much.
