Spencer - Guide Dog ๐Ÿพ

Wow! Is he three already? Itโ€™s lovely to follow how well heโ€™s doing with Terry and how much Terry adores him too. Well done, Mags! Youโ€™ve played a huge part in transforming Terryโ€™s life.

Happy Birthday, Spencer! :cake: :gift:

Terry recently posted that Spencer would be accompanying him and his OH on a cruise around the UK.
So, having been on a cruise myself I wondered how they coped with toileting?
I know @Emily_Babbelhund talked a little about toileting at airports previously so was wondering if either @Emily_Babbelhund or @Boogie had any info as to how cruises were managed.
I wouldn't want to be poop scooper but I guess someone would be allocated and a specific area?
Insight would be interesting.

I've only been on one 'cruise' (ha ha) with Carbon and that was the overnight ferry from France to Ireland. Like @Boogie said, they had a specific deck area for it. Carbon said, "Thanks but no thanks" but I guess if he was desperate he would have gone. I wouldn't have gone either I were him: it was dire.

We've seen some pretty classy versions of 'dog relief areas' in airports. i think it was Colorado that even had a fire hydrant to aim for, fake grass and a mural of the outdoors, all of which was hosed down regularly and honestly didn't smell of wee at all. And then there was Bristol airport, which was, "Oh just let him have a wee to the side of the plane right before you go up the stairs." ๐Ÿ˜‚
