Stanley’s eaten something AGAIN

So Big Stan has eaten something that’s pellet like on his walk. Not sure if it’s poison of some sort.

I wasn’t there, he was with his dog Walker but she picked up some of the pellets to show me.

I had him at the vets within 20 minutes of him eating it and they’re going to make him sick so hopefully we’ve caught it early enough.

Bloody daft dog.

Not sure what they are. Did he snaffle them on a street or field etc.? They almost look like rabbit food. xx
It was just down his usual nature reserve. They were all around a tree near the bin which makes me think they were put their purposefully. But I have no idea what they are. I didn’t want to take the risk of it being anything sinister.

Ugh, Jen - I feel your pain. Good that you've gone the vet vomit route.

The pellets almost look like some kind of animal feed that's gotten wet. Hopefully that's all it is, but better safe than sorry.
I was thinking they looked like animal feed too, but you've done the right thing taking him to the vet incase they're not. Hope Stanley's OK.

Poor Stanley.....he worked hard for those whatever-they-are-pellet-thingys and then the nasty vet took them back in a mean way....

Good thing your dog walker was on the ball. They do look like feed pellets of some kind but people can add poisonous crap to pellets with sinister intentions :( I’m sure all will be fine now though due to the quick action of all of you.

I was told yesterday about a Lab who was walked in our local nature reserve, at end of walk it started to get wobbly, went straight to vet, made to vomit and vomited up a bag of Cocaine!!! Very sensible to make Stanley vomit, they might have been poisoned whatever they are.

He looks very subdued, but sadly these dogs don’t learn from their being-made-sick experiences! He’ll be bouncing around and ready to scavenge something else soon.
