He is sooooo gorgeous!!!
Yes! It’s a visual barrier while we’re getting the boys used to being in close quarters - the next stage will be to remove it, working towards not needing Stilton’s crate. Is there a reason why you have a solid board separating the two in the car?
Thing is, he’s still utterly adorable even when he’s being a marauding turbo kraken (This is our highest rating for Stilton in über-shark mode). I had forgotten the fear though - he’s definitely a bit scary when he’s all teeth!I was looking at the photo of them both in the back of the car, thinking how absolutely adorable Stilton is (Kipper too), then I saw the photo of your arm!! The memories flooded back

Yeah, it’s the jumping from behind and going for the ankles that really puts the fear into me! No teeth lost yet, I’ve seen a couple of the middle ones (premolars, I’ve just learned from the RCV) pushing through in the last couple of days.It is scary! Memories of Axel jumping up and chomping at the back of my thighs and bum are flooding back. Once those teeth start falling out the end will be in sight! Has he lost any yet?
Oooph yeah and the strength they have at so young is shocking! Ohh awe, yeah that would be painful for him. I can’t remember when Axel lost his first tooth but you must be getting close!Yeah, it’s the jumping from behind and going for the ankles that really puts the fear into me! That particular move was a speciality of Solstice's!Oh yeah, this !!
but we’ve regressed. I always keep things quiet when I go to him in the small hours - lights off, just a torch and candlelight, minimal fuss - but my goodness, it’s a bit of a drudge. Teething pain is particularly bad right now with premolars and molars pushing through, plus he’s growing substantially which probably has its own challenges for him.
Sorry to hear you are feeling down. Completely understandable, especially with lack of sleep on top of everything else. I hope Stilton settles back into a more manageable routine for you soon!Bit of a low point here at 4.50am having been up with Stilton since 2.50am. We’ve now had several nights where he’s waking up at 2.30 or 3am needing a wee, then more often then not a poo, and then he needs to teethe so we get into a cycle of frozen things, chews, furniture, redirection onto chews, me and various body parts, redirection onto frozen things etc for at least an hour or two. We’ve got a set routine for bedtime at 12, with wees and poos before bed and a last feed at around 9.30 with water away at 11. We had got to 5 hours clear sleeping, with a couple of 6 hr nightsbut we’ve regressed. I know this too shall pass, but it’s rough with an accumulated lack of sleep and working fairly long days alongside managing two households in one small space. I had a job interview yesterday and really muffed up some of my answers because I couldn’t cudgel my brain into action. It’s feeling quite a strain at the moment
On the bright side, his next phase of puppy classes start next week! Should be fun, I’m looking forward to it although it does add more kerfuffle to the week.
Oh gosh yes that accumulated lack of sleep - just exhausting. As you say it will pass but it’s really hard right now.it’s rough with an accumulated lack of sleep and working fairly long days alongside managing two households in one small space.
