Aaargh! The eyebrow whiskers! So cute!

Also...um...he already looks bigger today than he did yesterday? Do you...think he may have a bit of moose in him on his dad's side?

:giggl:
He is quite long for 8 weeks, do you think he will be a big boy? Maxx always had really long legs and now everyone says he is so tall for a lab
It’s going to be interesting to see! We always said that after Kipper we’d aim for smaller labs in future, and when we met Roo (Stilton’s mum) for the first time we were surprised how tiny she was, almost a different breed from Kipper. Stilton’s father Rupert is beautiful and stockier but not a huge amount bigger, so only time will tell… sometimes he looks tiny, sometimes huge. I do remember the same with Kipper.

Also he’s closer to 9 weeks - he’ll be 9 weeks on Tuesday. It’s astounding how they change from week to week - his mum’s owner posted weekly photos of Roo on her Instagram account when she was a pup, and it’s amazing the rate of growth.

He’s just gorgeous @HAH ❤. I don’t think you can always tell how big they are going to be. Red had really long legs when she was a puppy and we thought she was going to be huge…but she’s a small Labrador compared to others we meet

This was my experience with Axel, but the opposite. He was a small puppy, smallest of the litter too, the vet even said he would only get to be 65lbs full grown, well he almost doubled that :giggl: full grown he was 110lbs (he did get to a chonky 120 ish, oopsies)

Ahhh my morning Stilton puppy spam, I was expecting more photos to be honest 😍 but I suppose you have a few more hours of day left

Jokes aside! Glad to hear the night went well! So nice how house trained he has come!

Well we’re making progress with Kipper and Stilton. After the trauma of Stilton’s arrival and several times being dive-bombed by an over-excited puppy, Kipper was reluctant to pass Stilton’s pen or go into the garden (which can only easily be accessed via the kitchen where Stilton’s pen is set up).
This morning, we set it up a lot more securely so OH was with Stilton in his garden pen with a distracting chew, and Kipper could move freely through the kitchen and into the garden in his own time. He had a wee, a good sniff around and a bit of squeezy cheese which was all good progress. A little later, Kipper was brave enough to come into the kitchen while Stilton was in his pen, which again is a big step forward. I’m keen we take our time with this, and am really proud of Kipper’s progress with what is a big change for him.
