Well we’re making progress with Kipper and Stilton. After the trauma of Stilton’s arrival and several times being dive-bombed by an over-excited puppy, Kipper was reluctant to pass Stilton’s pen or go into the garden (which can only easily be accessed via the kitchen where Stilton’s pen is set up).
This morning, we set it up a lot more securely so OH was with Stilton in his garden pen with a distracting chew, and Kipper could move freely through the kitchen and into the garden in his own time. He had a wee, a good sniff around and a bit of squeezy cheese which was all good progress. A little later, Kipper was brave enough to come into the kitchen while Stilton was in his pen, which again is a big step forward. I’m keen we take our time with this, and am really proud of Kipper’s progress with what is a big change for him.
. I don’t think you can always tell how big they are going to be. Red had really long legs when she was a puppy and we thought she was going to be huge…but she’s a small Labrador compared to others we meet
but I suppose you have a few more hours of day left
