Stilton had his second set of jabs (I think Canine Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Distemper) this morning and we weighed him, a full 7.3kgs! He was excellent at the vets, not too much fussing from other people which I was pleased about and I took his vet bed for the inspection table which definitely helped his comfort. The vet had seen 2 puppies earlier in the day and said he was the most relaxed by far!

We did some grooming practice earlier with salmon mousse (Fish4Dogs puppy pack) on a lickmat. He was such a good boy, but of course I trimmed a couple of nails and a dew claw and nicked him :doh:poor little chap did a tiny squeak and bled a bit but otherwise was stoic. I’ll go a lot slower in future…

I use a human clipper when they are tiny it takes seconds and you can only take a bit off. It's gets them used to it when they are tiny without having to worry about nicking them. It pays off when the get older.❤16880340717703032128095986084310.jpg

Mama Red HOT Pepper
Don't you just want to squish his little face?! OK, maybe it's better that I'm not in the UK, I'd DEFINITELY be camping out on @HAH 's front doorstep trying to get a puppy sighting.

I'm sorry, you've probably said this ages ago, but is he related to Kipper? He has a very Kipper look to him!

Doing his best ‘Chicago hoodlum’ impression
I'm scared for sure. :scared:
