Tatze is drooling excessively :(

I don’t regret rushing to the vet. If it had been something sticking in her mouth or worse it would have needed urgent attention.

I rushed Cupar to the vet a few weeks ago for excessive drooling, I googled it and got nightmares that it was bloat. The vet gave him a thorough going over and found nothing. It was later that evening before the drooling subsided but it was a terrifying
few hours, so I completely understand the rush to the vets and I'm so pleased Tatz is now looking to get fed.

That is the most sensible thing to do @Boogie, always make it a first call. I am pleased she is settling now, fingers crossed it was a toad and all will be well.

Maybe it was nothing, just a general queasiness such as we can all get for no apparent reason time to time. Or maybe it was a "tode" (as The Pig would say) . But you absolutely did the best thing taking her to the vet. I'm glad she seems to be feeling better now

She had a runny tummy a couple of times in the night, so maybe she’s got a virus? There have been a lot going around the dog population locally.

Scrambled eggs and yudigest on today’s menu.

Poor Tatze. Drooling is a worry to me. Charlie could have filled a bucket a few years ago when it turned out he had run onto a stick and put a hole in the back of his throat. Never ignore drooling. I hope Tatze gets better really soon Mags. xxx
