I bought the cheapest to try it out.

This one. It was £14.99

It’s a bit big, but it is really for Zaba and he’s much chunkier. Spencer doesn’t love it but he’s not tried to take it off and is snoozing happily in it now.

I hope Zaba does the same because he’s the one who puts mud lines all round the house!

I think I'll get one once the house is finally all painted. Although I think I might sew one myself. I've seen once at the Horse show ages ago that zipped up like a large sleeping bag so no muddy paw prints either but I'm not sure how dogs would like it as they wouldn't be able to move easily.

Zaba’s dressing gown was the cheapest I could find but it’s excellent. It’s been raining for a week solid now and he’s needed it on every day. It wicks the water really well and then dries really quickly ready for the next time.

Thumbs up, definitely - and my walls no longer have a mud line on them.

Zaba is not impressed, but he puts up with it.

I bought a cheap version and then we got a "free" R&T one at the dog friendly hotel we stayed in .
The R&T is better made and high quality and also fits better (Hunter detests it) . I use it after hydrotherapy and the beach so the car stays dry.
I use it more to protect the car than the house.

No she really doesn't like it anymore. She flings herself at furniture when it’s on - obviously wanting it taken off. I tried it again last week when we had so much rain and she was coming in a muddy wet thing after her walks. Not going to put it on her again. Fortunately Sky is quite happy in hers

Is that Equafleece, @Lara_Pigletina? I need to get Ginny sorted with custom fit ones for next winter - now's probably a good time to do it.
It’s Hotterdog. It’s really not a good fit though, the Pig is a very strange shape and her coats have to be ginormous to get her chest and elbows in and then it hangs off her. I got a custom sized fleece tummy warmer coat recently from a different company and it is perfect :) but expensive, and only shipped within the US so was a right palaver getting it! But will be well worth it for the Snowdonia winter :)

Ooh, what company was that? Equafleece got back to me and said they no longer do custom fit sweaters.

oops sorry for late reply. It was this: Voyagers K9 Apparel Breed-Specific and Custom-Sized Dog Coats and Gear
OH got it delivered to a colleague who works in their US office for him to bring back but it was a right palaver and although I ordered it in November I only managed to get it in April  but ready for this coming winter. Also, OH forgot to tell the guy that it was actually a dog coat and said that it was "a coat for my wife"...and then when he opened it in his office when it finally arrived he got some very funny looks!

I’ve got a dog robes for Ripple and a ruff and tumble for Toffee. Because of the Velcro the ruff and tumble gives much more tummy cover, but the 'leg bits' make it more of a faff to put on.

You can just act like the leg straps aren't there if you want. Carbon isn't much of a squirmer and it doesn't seem to make much difference if I use the straps or not.
