The ducks have landed in Regensburg...mostly. It was a long and sweaty drive from Metz: my poor little car put out a bit of cold air if I kept it under 100km per hour, but not much. There was no chance of stopping along the way as it was too hot. Carbon and I both had one wee break when I filled up my tank and that was it.
Quite a few little changes in my flat, but this time all welcome ones: a new area rug, a toiletry caddy in the shower, things like that. Mainly I'm just glad that I'll be able to unpack my car for the first time since January. I counted and this is my 18th house move (i.e. longer than 2 night stays as I don't count those) since 1 January. Most of those were practically moving next door, but I'm still pretty tired of it. Yeah, I'm already dreaming of rolling into Padstow in January, but I can sit here for a bit first.
There's also a LOT to sort out this summer like my immigration and tax status and hopefully completing most of Carbon's SD training.
Tomorrow I'll get my car out of the garage at 6am when the streets are empty, park in front of my door and toss everything from the TARDIS into my little studio. Then these two ducks will have OFFICIALLY officially landed!
