Go Emily and Carbon!
Whoop whoop! Not sure if Carbon would be so thrilled with me putting this in HIS thread, but it looks like I've just been offered my off/on mini job back. Only 10 hours a week but that's fine by me as I've decided I'm semi-retired anyway. I'll believe it when I see the money - that's the way it is for contract work - but it was a nice surprise for a summer Tuesday afternoon.![]()
That’s jolly good news @Emily_Babbelhund , glad they recognise your value; and will help to keep Carbón in white fish so it does sort of belong here.True enough! White fish and turkey bratwurst!will help to keep Carbón in white fish so it does sort of belong here.

Jac, I'm stuck inside an apartment 23 hours a day...I have a feeling I have more time than you to focus on toothbrushing and clicking. You put me to shame Emily.
I haven't even kept up the toothbrushing![]()

Clever of Carbon but I'm just following his Service Dog Curriculum. Though the pot was my idea after he sent a few other objects flying across the room with his paw. That is so awesome and clever @Emily_Babbelhund![]()

Your flying planning reminds me of my rail travel planning with my GGJ, not the shortest route but the most dog friendly, it just has to be. Hope you manage to work it out, I'm sure if anyone can it's you. Wish I could take little Joy flying with me!Thank you...I'm still trying to embrace the grey and wavy thing! It seems to suit you - maybe wavy is a better fit![]()
It does make it easier that I've flown with Brogan before many times, so Carbon is really the unknown factor. As you say, you plan the dog-friendly route, which is rarely the shortest. Also have a little trepidation about the fact that I'll also likely still be in the boot for my foot, but who knows. I've also decided NOT to train Carbon on escalators and that could be an issue depending on the set up to and from the plane. He'd do fine on them with training but I just can't do that now with my foot. Better safe than sorry.Hope you manage to work it out, I'm sure if anyone can it's you.
