The Labraventures of Carbón, Spanish (ex-) foster dog extraordinaire

You are so lucky Carbon likes to cuddle like that. I would love Snowie to get under the duvet. He will cuddle for two seconds and then get too hot.

Out of curiosity, how furry is it under the duvet? ;) The top of ours is furry enough!!

Most of the year Carbon doesn't shed that much and he doesn't have a double coat either. When he does shed, the fur is easy to get off the duvet. I just give the duvet a shake every morning and give the fitted sheet a shake as well. That does the trick. If it's more serious, I've also got a squeegee-like thing that picks up fur like a magnet.

But in general, it's not a big deal. There's a BIG difference between yellow Lab fur and black Lab fur! :)

I dunno... Chewie left a PILE of fur on the sofa yesterday. And I am always fishing hair out of my mouth because his favourite sleeping place is on my pillow. We usually have a cuddle under the covers before he gets hot and moves to his own bed.

Really?? I mean, yes I agree that the fur is impossible to remove. But I had no idea there was a difference between black and yellow. Fascinating. I wonder why?
No idea! Just seems to be a much different texture. I'm also mildly allergic to yellow Labs and nothing at all with blacks. It's no big deal, just itchy eyes and nose, but one reason I considered getting a choccy or black but not a yellow. There may be a difference amongst yellows too - the pale ones I've met (nearly white like @VanillaBean 's two) seem to have the slicker, less 'fish-hooky' fur too.
