Wonderful video Emily, thank you. What confused bag lady? I saw a gorgeous chickie who wandered into the clip 💗

My heart was in my mouth in the earlier one where carbon went out into the deep. I'm paranoid about sharks. Irrational, I know

I will miss you too Emily , Paul also . Although circumstances meant that we couldnt meet up as much as usual , I always cherish your visits and ours to you too , even if Paul does ask if you are leaving any time soon when you are here ! Looking forward to one last lunch together on Tuesday , I have pizza and ice cream

Aww, thank you all very much for such nice words. Nothing will change here as far as Señor Carbón sharing his adventures of course, but I know it's a different feeling when we're not hanging out in Cornwall. I'll try not to be a blubbering mess on Tuesday at Kate's, but making no promises. Every morning I wake up and think, "x more days" and just feel sad. It's my choice and I have some wonderful things to look forward to, but goodbyes are tough, no way around it.

And on a lighter note...

My heart was in my mouth in the earlier one where carbon went out into the deep. I'm paranoid about sharks. Irrational, I know
Yeah, like @Jacqui-S said, it's more jellyfish here. And even they haven't made an appearance yet because it is still too cold (or at least it was before today). Porthcothan is a long, narrow cove and goes out very slowly. So even when you see him "far out" he's rarely deeper than a meter and usually he's standing on the bottom vs actually swimming. I also know there are zero rocks there and no rip currents. It's the rare place I'd toss the ball into bigger waves. 😊

Now we're off to bed and Carbon will take over again tomorrow. We were out all day (7:30am to 8pm) - Porthcothan for a surf, Godrevy near St Ives for a 4 hour walk, seal watching, and picnic and then another 2.5 hours walking around Megavissey (a cute fishing village). I really wanted to feel like I made the most of our last weekend and I believe I succeeded. But Carbon was so tired he almost didn't eat dinner (and you KNOW that's serious!) and somehow I've managed to be get a sunburn...in CORNWALL. How does that happen? 😂

So we're off to bed and as Carbon would say if he was awake, "Buenas noches, amigos!"
