Oh yes, can’t wait to get there - 2 weeks from tomorrow! But thanks to Brexit, I can’t live there long-term, so that was what I was looking for in Portugal, a place to settle down for a while. As @Jelinga says, time to find another Plan B!
Could you marry one of us? I’m sure there’d be plenty of takers!
It’s useful if you ever go to Brazil. As well as Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and São Tomé and Príncipe, and has co-official language status in East Timor, Equatorial Guinea and Macau (I definitely didn’t Google these).

Amigos, we are in my homeland of Spain ! And we have for tonight a very small apartment with a massive patio: Que bonito! It also has fire in a box, but ML is no good with those, so I may be deprived. Que lastima!
There are also people riding horses in the street and a shouting donkey nearby. This is an authentic white pueblo for SURE!

The patio is about 2x the size of the whole apartment! It was a great deal and the host has been lovely. Watching the sunset from the patio while listening to the birds (and braying donkey) was magical. That’s from me and not Carbón as he was indoors eating dinner. Priorities!

Amigos, ML accused me of looking sad and hungry for most of my photos today! Pfft! Can a magnificent señor not have the occasional off day? I was too busy taking in the magnificence of being back in my homeland to focus on my art, this is perhaps true.
Plus I got my posterior stuck in the turnstile coming out of the castle museum. That is enough to put anyone off their game, de verdad?
Even with all that, I share a few of my best shots from today, because even my off days are still pretty darn guapo.
On the streets of Zahara, one of our very favorite white towns.
The church is so pretty.

Holaaaaaa, amigos! We have been touristing and visiting our hearts out here in my home town! Hopefully it rains a lot in Cornbeefwall in February so we will have time to edit our backlog of photos, because I have been hard at work but ML has been slacking on sharing my modelling trabajo here. Que lastima!
A leeetle sneak of today’s special adventure at the Royal Alcázar in Seville. We do not usually visit many places where all dogs are not allowed, but today ML was brave, dressed me up, and decided to try to get in by asking veeeeery nicely. It really depends on the country: for example Italy and the UK have always let me into museums, Germany almost never.
And then there is the boredom factor. For me, claro. For ML, a museum is one of her happy places, but for me it is a place where we walk oh so slowly and stop, and wait, and look. I am a good worker, but this wait stop look stop business can be exhausting.
Pues, there is also being stopped and petted by people from all over the world: that is muy bueno! It is sometimes a leeetle weird though. Today a man came up to me, knelt down and gently hugged me, then got up and walked off…all without saying a word to ML! Also there were MANY Italians there and they really seem to like dogs more than the Alcázar, because they ALL said CIAO to me and talked to ML.
Anyway, the nice museum people let us in with no problems at all. The visit was hard work for me but in the end, pretty bueno. There are not many photos of me because when I am in a special ‘assistance dogs only’ place, claro que sí, I am not there to pose. Still, sneaky ML managed a couple, ojalá!
