To begin with it was on nlead and at length of lead.

I asked our trainer about this and she said no, no lead. She wants him to it be his choice to stay or go and not be restrained. She's VERY R+!

Also her thing is that if he's popping up, it means I'm upping criteria too soon or giving him confusing cues. If I set him up for success correctly, he doesn't need a lead.

Of course if we were out of the garden and in public, he may need the lead while training just for safety.

We're working on part 2 of the Out of Sight game and this time I actually get out of sight.

Hola todos! I have been very busy this weekend practicing both my settle and my social distancing. I am muy bueno at one but not so good with the other. I saw my friend from Spain, Poppy the Podenco, today on the cliff walk and HAD to give her besitos! Who could have resisted? Not I!

Here I am practicing 'settle' on the Cornish cliffs. Que guapo soy!
