ML hijacking Carbon's thread. :wasntme:

@Oberon , @Candy and @jazzmynn - you get the prize! It's Paul (now Vizzy).

I was going to say Toby, but I might be getting my Bods mixed up?
With such a blurry photo, it could be either one really. But Carbon doesn't know Toby and Paul was his very best buddy, so...this is Paul. 😊

We were lucky enough to arrange a last-minute visit with Paul (Vizzy) and his humans Steve and Fran. Paul recognised Carbon and me immediately, as always, and Carbon had to first wee in the garden, raid the trash, find all the balls and THEN recognised Paul. As always. They had a massive play and I had a lovely visit with Steve and Fran. Not sure why, but Carbon always acts like a complete asshat (sorry, love that word 😂) around Steve and Fran and they justifiably always look upon me with pity that I got the lesser of the two dogs. I think it's just that when they were together, Paul was the brains of the operation and Carbon just kind of followed him. When they get together again, Carbon seems to immediately revert to type!

Paul was so sweet, putting his front legs around my neck and kissing me all over (I now have particularly clean ears). It's very touching that he still remembers me and has such a lovely reaction. And not only did Steve and Fran adopt another Bodeguero, they continue to foster with a new pup arriving from Spain in two weeks time. Paul saved himself, them and through them a dozen other Bods so far. ❤

Hola todos! I had such a good day with my friends in the forest, making sure to always carry lovely Harley's ball for her so that she did not have to worry about it one bit. What a gentleman and I am CERTAIN she appreciated my efforts! Despues, then we got a visit with Whispa and Tuppy at mi amiga @Granca 's house, can you believe it?!

I would show you pictures of all of this, except ML has nearly expired on the bed and refuses to move until tomorrow. Que lastima, what a shame! However I am sure that she will eventually perk up and download her photos. I cannot do it as I have no opposable thumbs. Gracias a dios that I can type this with my nose, no?

The only sad part of the day is that we took the big train and now we are on the right side of the road...and that means our time in Cornwall and with our UK forum amigos is over. ML and I are both sad about this, but we will try to think of our new adventures and share them with you. Tomorrow we drive to Normandy, which is a nice place in France with big beaches. Most of those beaches do not like dogs, even gentleman dogs such as myself, but ML says we are going to try to taking Aunty @kateincornwall and Uncle Paul's advice and "nobodypaysattentiontothoselawsjustgoonthebeachaalready" (a direct quote from Uncle Paul). The drive tomorrow will be interesting because I am mas o menos, more or less sure that ML does not remember how to drive on the right side of the road anymore AND there is a big storm coming in tonight that is meant to last ALL DAY tomorrow. Weeeeee....vamos!

Buenos noches mis amigos, we will miss seeing you in person but we will see you here on the forum. ❤❤❤

Carbon is asleep and we're settled in. More tomorrow - it was a 6 hour drive and the little apartment is...ahem..."interesting", but I think will seem cheerier once we've both had a good sleep. Good news is that - miracle of miracles - the beach is dog friendly and a 3 minute walk away. And the wifi is good. Everything else isn't all that important for only a week stay.
