Hola amigos,

We just confirmed that we can stay a little longer in Cornwall until the end of May. We will go into the un poco loca casa next door while the owners go again rambling in Scotland. ML was not too worried if they said 'no' because we could have gone rambling to Scotland ourselves to visit @Jacqui-S and @Sophiedoodle and Oreo and Lilly and Gus, but this way we do get a few more weeks of spring flowers in our querida Cornwall.

Me, sophie and the BF (for a bit) are hoping we have booked a cottage on the coast near where they filmed Local Hero. It is about 100yds from a secluded beach. Fingers crossed, the owner is away and can't confirm until the weekend.
We are hoping the weather stays kind and the snow keeps away.

No, no mi querida Jac, WE are only hogging the upside down house until April 29. Then OTHER people are hogging it! But before 29 April, you know there is a whole other bedroom here that you could use. I may come in and sleep on your faces, but that is part of the experience, no?

Sometimes I am a naughty naughty caballero, no? I ran all the way down to the cliff edge and then all the way back up. Weeeeeee!

He saw a group of walkers on the trail below the field and went to say hello. The only problem with that is...(1) it was very far and (2) from my vantage point, it looked like he disappeared right off the cliff. Yikes. I only started filming him when he reappeared as a tiny dot in the distance, therefore had not flung himself into the sea as I first feared.

He really is starved for other dogs and humans at the moment. I had to go into Truro yesterday for an eye appointment and he treated the whole experience like a kid in a candy store. Or worse a LABRADOR in a candy store!

Syd knows me for two years already, so he knows I am a true sportsman. His son Fred stayed a little back on the sofa at first, but then he joined in the fight to face his destiny as well. What a day!
