The Labraventures of Carbón, Spanish (ex-) foster dog extraordinaire

Mis amigos, I know we are entering the last month of our stay in Cornbeefwall because it is when ML always starts taking me to the beach at least once a day. Today we enjoyed some ball time at sunset and it was magnifico.

However guapo I am, I do wish ML could take a photo where more than just the end of my nose was in focus. She says it is impressionistic, but your Spanish gentleman is doubtful.

Both photos, so beautiful. Where are you going next?
ML answering because Carbón has no idea of all our travel plans. 😉

This Thursday we are moving out of 'our' house and into our neighbours' house next door while they are caravanning in Scotland. It's a cute house but it's definitely more like house-sitting or squatting vs. the feeling of being at home at this house. But I'm still grateful to squeeze another month of Cornwall in, especially my favourite month when all the flowers come out.

Then 1 June the trek back to Germany and Regensburg. I didn't think we'd have the apartment I loved last summer as the manager had just kind of disappeared before Easter, so I'd thought we be spending this summer in California and Portugal with a brief stint in Germany. But all change last week when she offered it to me starting 1 June for as long as I want it. That means we will be having a long (for us) stay in Regensburg before heading to California in October to visit my father. It seems a bit too static right now (I was actually looking forward to doing a bit of nomading now that I've rested up in Cornwall), but after last year's 25+ moves, I DID want this year to be more stable, and this is it. Plus I really do love that apartment in Regensburg to bits.

Mainly I don't want to leave Cornwall. I'm not really sure how it goes by faster every year. 🙁

Thats great Emily I know you loved it.
I did/do! So much better than my former basement apartment. It has a proper separate bedroom with a door, and the bedroom has big windows with a view on the cathedral spires. Very 'old-worldy'. 😉

Like I said, I am a bit concerned about four months in Regensburg dragging on (though the same amount of time in Cornwall seems WAY too short), but I have lots to accomplish in that time and it will go quickly once I adjust to the different type of life again. And Carbón loves Regensburg nearly as much as Cornwall: he's always extra bouncy when we arrive. It's all the pretzels on the ground in the Old Town. 😁
