The Labraventures of Carbón, Spanish (ex-) foster dog extraordinaire

Hello Emily and Carbon how wonderful to see you again. You are both looking well. Freya looks very nice Carbon is she your new girl friend :dug:
She is NOT my new girlfriend! Bueno, I like her fine, but she took my spot on the sofa next to ML AND my spot in the bed, so I do not think we will be a love story. More like a, “Hola, I will push you out of bed” story!

Sounds like an enemies to lovers plot line….
Oh Dios mio, you speak nothing but the truth! Querida Freya had been ignoring me but lavishing attention on ML all day when suddenly I was caught by a wave of passion and then had to pull out my very best flirting techniques. Freya was at first appalled by the power of such strong Spanish amor, but then flirted back with me! Oh, it was love!

Pues…then she changed her mind and growled at me and hid behind ML until I came to my senses. Clearly a more subtle approach is needed. Tomorrow, mis amigos , is another day.

Lovely to hear about your travels... Cornwall is just around the corner ¿No lo es? ( ( well not literally.. .)

Sí, sí! Tienes rázon, you are right! Just around the corner! But actually literally too from a dog's perspective. I just tell my Monkey Butler (aka ML) where to go, then I lay down for a nice couple of naps, a few deleeeecious breakfasts and lunches, and the TARDIS magically transports me to Cornbeefwall. Pues...

Just around the corner!

Amigos, I am very tired because I had to take ML shopping. It was tough. So tough that we had to take a break at guest services where I got life-saving treats and a very guapa complimentary bandana.

Luckily I got a second wind and made sure ML was outfitted for our upcoming Labratour. Si si, the Labratour is about to start again, weeeeee!

In the meanwhile , here I am looking very serious with amiga Mimi and part of our Scheels shopping haul.

Oh, amigos, I am so happy to be back at Cookie Man’s house, reunited with Monkey and Dog. And of course Cookie Man and his cookies. After ML fed me what she calls my dinner (que divertente, very funny), Cookie Man gave me pumpkin cookies, pizza, mango, and peanut butter. HE knows how to treat a Labrador guest!

I was so full, I took myself off to bed where ML found me like this:

Oooooh, amigos, something is happening today! ML is doing her big packing thing and looking all triste, sad, when she talks to Cookie Man. Ojala that it was different, but I think we are gearing up for a move. Que lastima, what a shame, because I have really gotten used to having two Monkey Butlers, one who feeds me at least six times a day.

On the other hand, ML says that she has now been liberated from the chains of gainful employment and we are FREE to have another Labratour. She says I will get lots of gelato cones and panini where we are going, and I may even get a chance to practice my Riverdance skills. Or visit a chateau. So many options!

And she says we are both getting in shape, which is good because I have noticed that my extra wiggle is starting to weigh me down a bit after a month with Cookie Man. Do not misunderstand, amigos, I am still the guapo-est of all Spanish gentlemen, but there is - perhaps - a little too much of me to love. ML says I have to be the fit one in the family as she cannot manage it. But I say we will walk and walk and walk until we are BOTH looking amazing. Team Carbón: we can do it!

Señor Carbòn, has ML got some nice renters in her Little Yellow House?
Oh si, since February! Pues, we hope they are nice, as we do not know them. But ML says, "So far, so good" and I certainly like their money because it will keep me in deleeeeecious food now that ML is officially más o menos a full time Monkey Butler, which - let us be honest - is a wonderful job but does not pay all that well.
