Hooooollllaaaa amigos! I think I am ALMOST back to my old self, with only a tiny bit of what ML now is pretty sure was an unfortunate case of cold water tail. We went out this morning at 6:30 am for a walk, a REAL walk of two hours, and I had a wonderful time. We went to the other side of the river where more normal Florentines live and at that time of the day, there were so many other dog amigos out too. I met some new friends, even had a gentle play, and ML got to talk to a nice lady who thought I was very guapo.
The only thing that I did not appreciate, de verdad, was ML telling everyone that she could not let me off lead to play because I would just run into the nearest restaurant and into the kitchen, or try to get into someone's apartment - also into the kitchen. This is so very much not FAIR! Si, sí, I have indeed done this in my past, but really, you break into some stranger's kitchen only three or four times in your WHOLE LIFE and get tarred with the naughty brush.
Would I have done it TODAY? Vale, sí, yes, I probably would have. But maybe I would not have. In any case, she should not be telling complete strangers tales about me, and that is the truth.
Today ML says that if I am still feeling good, she will take me this afternoon to the pine forest up on the hill and I may go off leash - because there are no cars OR kitchens - and carry my ball. Ojalá! Let us hope my tail behaves and we can go!
Then tomorrow is our last day in Florence and we are going to a mystery destination. All I care about is that ML has promised me a Business Class seat with lots of space - only the best for this Spanish gentleman!

Carbon, Snowie agrees that every kitchen is for discovering. He has been into every kitchen in our road. He says it’s very important to scout out the neighbourhood for potential meals.
There is a fenced dog park on the other side of the river. Facing the river, with the Duomo behind you, cross over to the other side and walk right for about 30 mins. There’s a big park next to the entrance to the Boboli Gardens, and there you’ll find the fenced dog park. Perhaps you know it already? There’s a school there, too, that has a sign: “No entry! We are not a tourist site.”

My own ML is very lucky that she never has to leave me and that we can go most places in our magical TARDIS. However I do have to say, the one time in my whole life with her that she left me - vale, it was only for half a day but it still was very memorable to me - I stayed with Auntie @kateincornwall and my best amigo Reuben and it was very nice. We played and ate nice things and had cuddles - que bien !
So maybe, if your ML wants to go to Eatally, you could come stay with me in Cornbeefwall and we could BOTH visit Auntie Kate and Reuben! Or if your ML is not really going to Eatally, you could BOTH come to visit us! Oh sería un sueño, amiga GGJ!
Finally do not be too envious of my modelling lifestyle because I am telling you, de verdad, some of the things she makes me do. Normally I do not post the most embarrassing photos here, but in the spirit of cheering you up, look what ML and amiga Cecilia made me do today - Pfft!

Thank you for the tip about the dog park too! I was not allowed this trip because of my bothersome tail, but maybe in the future?

A few more photos from Bella Firenze before we go out for our last evening walk to enjoy the Christmas lights. Because of my poor tail, we did not do much tourism, but we still enjoyed some good visits with Cecilia, gentle walks, and our comfortable penthouse with a view. Tomorrow we go to our mystery destination. ML is a leeetle worried that we may get lost on the way, but I will take good care of her, claro que sí!
