Reuben was so excited that he began to be a bit naughty , like an overtired toddler

Pfft! I must defend best amigo Reuben, who was a perfect Cornish gentleman at all times. Now Nelly with her sick cat voice - caramba! - SHE was a little scary! And ML reminds me that perhaps I should have been more discreet when drooling over our fellow diners’ sausage bap breakfasts. But really, can you blame me?

Hola amiiiiigos! It was mainly another grey and misty day in Cornbeefwall, but ML says I get my swim even if I have to suffer a bit of wet from above with my wet from below. But guess what? Even though it was raining when we left home, at the end of my surf the sun came out! Qué bien!

Suddenly more dogs came out too and EVERYONE was happier. Y más, it was high tide, and that means perfect surfing with lots of nice waves in my face. Ojala! I am tired and sandy now, so you know it was good.

Oh amigos, the rain is back today, qué lastima! But we had some wonderful sun for three days and ML and I made the most of it, including a trip to bonita St Ives, a visit to Aunty Kate to see my chicken (and Reuben), and our traditional spring photoshoot overlooking Padstow.

I am oh so cansado, tired, now that I do not mind a rainy sofa day at all. It is the chance to dream of my chicken, no?

Chicken is indeed very guapo! I think Aunty Kate was on the verge of giving in and letting me sneak out the door with him (or her?), but ML spotted me and said, "No, no, no! Carbón has too many stuffy friends and the reason he loves that chicken so much is that he (or she?) lives here with Reuben!". And THEN she peeled him (or her?) out of my poor little mouth! Oh pobre mí!

Someday we will be together, my guapo hermosa bonito chicken. Well... at least as long as Nelly does not eat any more bits off of your poor self while I am not there to protect you!
