Is that ML in the surf?
Oooooh Amiga Jac, you are muy divertida, very funny: ML in the surf! Ja, ja, ja! (That is Spanish for Ha,Ha, Ha). She is not NEARLY brave enough to get in over her knees, even though now the water is quite balmy.

She says it is because she does not know where to safely put her things like car keys if we swim together, but I know the truth: she is more chicken than my querida chicken at Reuben’s!

Carbon is so going to miss the sea xx
Sí, this is the truth.

But sabes, you know, I am a very much in the moment Señor and find fun (and things to eat) wherever I go. I think it is harder for humans because they are always thinking Deep Thoughts about what has happened and what will happen and what could happen. I just think about right now…well, except for breakfast and dinner. Those I think about a couple hours ahead of time because they are so importante.

Also ML says I have very serious dog lessons to teach baby chihuahua Maja back in Regensburg. I am up to the challenge!

Yes, I suppose being a Labrador and if Carbon is anything like Rourke FOOD is the most important thing! Being a human I think deep and imagine feelings 😊 x

Well, amigos, that was it, our last day in Cornwall. ML and I went for one last swimmy walk at Booby’s Bay. I was a bit naughty and kept running away from ML, but she knows this is what I do when I am unsettled and just told me over and over that I am a very good boy even if sometimes I do loco things.

Here is the face I make when I know that I am about to go on the best beach in the world.

Aaah. I know there are many adventures to come in other places. But I feel sad that this one has come to an end. Best of luck packing up, and safe travels. And book for next year now already!!

It's always a bit sad when you go, but we look forward to hearing about your new adventures, and hopefully to welcoming you both back next year.
Bon Voyage from GGJ and me xxxxxxx
Pee Ess, Joy says that should really be 'Bone Voyage '. :hearteyesdog:

ML here for a travel update because Carbón doesn’t bother himself with logistics. In fact, he’s hardly conscious in transport . 😉

Thank you all so much for the kind messages! We’re on the road now, just had a really nice midway stop at a port village called Appledore at the suggestion of my neighbor/landlord. It was a perfect place - last glimpse of the sea and a cute little promenade to stretch the Señor’s legs.

Now we’re off to see forum friends Rosie and Pongo in Wales, another couple hours depending on the traffic caused by the Glastonbury festival. That’s why we’re hugging the Atlantic Highway (A road) instead of the M5 (motorway), as the 200k people descending on the festival today are expected to back up the M5 for miles. Adventure!

Oh, I am so very tired down to my leeeetle paws, but it was a wonderful day of visiting my doggie amigos across all England.

There was gentle giant amigo Pongo in Wales:

Amigo Paul (now Vizzy), my prison cell mate in Spain now living the life with his muy simpatico humans in Wiltshire. He also has a new sister Bodeguero from Spain. Sharna was hit by a car and left on the road, but found by a kind and generous rescue lady and once she had finished her surgeries came to live with Vizzy. My own ML thought he looked fitter and happier having a dog sister again, though maybe do not judge the photos of him from today: just yesterday he had six teeth pulled and he was still a leeeetle wobbly!

Then it was off to visit amigo Troy! I met Troy when he stayed with us in Cornwall. He is a rescue from Greece and an excellent hunter. He also has an amazing garden filled with apples - yum!

Then finally we got to see amiga @Granca and amiga Tuppy. We had yummy treats and a good Labrador chat. Que bien!
