Mmmm…we will miss the sun, green, and 20 degrees. We however are both VERY ready to be in Cornbeefwall! Carbón is a pooped pup and I think will happily snooze on the sofa for at least a couple weeks. Or maybe that’s me.

And that’s all for Spain after tonight. We were meant to have one more night on the border, but as that sets me up for three days straight of 6-8 hour drives, i lengthened tomorrow‘s drive into France so the following day is lighter. As beautiful as everything is and as I grateful as I am to be able to do this kind of trip, I’m kind of at the end of my travel stamina and Carbon just looks beat. For the next three days, its Cornwall or bust.

It does all look very beautiful, but it must be tiring, and it's really time you were back in Cornbeefwall.
As GGJ and I always agree, 'It all feels right again once Emily and Carbón are back where they belong.'
Also it always makes it feel like Spring's on its way. To slightly alter the line from Shelley, 'If Emily and Carbón are here, can Spring be far behind?'

Awww, that is so sweet of you! If I could legally do so, I’d happily live year-round in Cornwall, but I can’t, so I just try to appreciate to the maximum the time I can visit. Every year feels like I get banished into exile when I have to leave, but that’s not to think of now at the beginning of a visit. Now is the time for a happy dance! Well, after another three days and 24 hours of driving.

I’ve started to think of you as a migratory bird, like a swallow - when you arrive it’s a sign of spring and the world reawakening, then when you go again it’s time for dormancy - but like the swallows, you really belong here, it’s just a temporary exile.

Pero la verdad, the truth is that I am much too tired to write anything at all many nights. This adventuring is hard! Could someone please give ML a proper job again so she sits on the comfy sofa all day and stares at her computer? I used to complain back then, but now I would really appreciate the rest!

Pues tonight we are in France and I went to bed EARLY. Do you know that somehow my own duvet and duvet cover and pillows and EVERYTHING all magically appear on my bed every night? And then every morning they all disappear again to show up in another town the next night? Do you think my bed is a space and time traveller like the TARDIS?

However it works, it is very comfy. So comfy that I’m going to sleep right….zzzzzzzzzzz….
