Yesterday was another swimmy morning, then a muy importante siesta for me while ML packed, and THEN I went to a birthday party for Amiga Sarah and my Labrador amigo Pedro.

It was Sarah’s birthday, not Pedro’s, but we dogs partied harder than anyone! I have never been to a human party, but I was encantado, enchanted! So many people! So much food! I went from person to person for pets and a nibble until it was my bedtime and collapsed on the sofa out of pure felicidad, happiness.

Qué lástima that my ML is not a party person: I must work to convince her to change her ways!

Last swims have been swum, the TARDIS is packed, and I am a very grumpy Señor. I was grumpy yesterday too, and as a protest on the fleeting nature of life, I did not swim but just watched my favorite ball gently drift out to sea.

But then some meddling turista swimming by took my ball and threw it to ML. Completely ruined the poetry of my epic commentary on the universe. Pfft!

Sí! It was amazing! Vale, the counter was a leeeetle too high, but there were plenty of humans who either helped me get food on purpose, or did not notice me helping myself to some comida that fell down ‘on its own’. De verdad: on its own. That is the hill I will die on!

Carbón is fast asleep so I’ll just say that we arrived safely in our French farm stay studio after a ‘cruise’ last night. Two bunks with Carbón’s blanket on one and me on the other, but as soon as I got into bed, he had to squeeze in with me, bless him.
