It was a long but easy flight. Carbón was so very good - really I think the best he’s ever been on a flight. Either it’s his age and sheer number of flights (this is about the 20th Europe to California haul he’s done) or it was simple exhaustion after our mad dash from Cornwall, fun but busy days in Brittany, and then a further mad dash to Germany.
We did have some minor adventures en route that I hope Carbón can fit into his busy Cookie Man snacking schedule to tell you about later.
@Jacqui-S very astutely you are correct that the US is not a trip for fun. Culture shock (and price shock) has already hit hard and there’s all that messy ‘family stuff’ (enough said) but Carbón will help me have some special moments too. He’s a good teacher that way.
