I can’t believe that woman really went to the police station, what is the matter with people :hmm: . She can’t have much else going on in her life is all I can think.

Some people are truly drama queens. I’m sure if she tried to take it further, having a photo of said pavement and explaining measures you took, she would be laughed away. What a joke!

As Rachael said, I had sympathy for her being angry/frightened/whatever at the time, even for reporting it. But to be pursuing it in the cold light of day? Really? It sounds like she is trying to prove a point. Maybe she has a history, which is stoking her fire. But it does sound like she doesn't have any sort of case that anyone would take seriously. @Jen's post is great.

Agree with @snowbunny. It is only natural to overreact in the heat of the moment, our previous experiences can dictate this, unfortunately. Usually though when we calm down and realise that actually, we are OK, things take on a more normal perspective, which is why this situation is odd. I do suspect an ulterior motive for her pursuing this, maybe she wants to claim some compensation? Love Jen's post, really lays it out in black and white. So sorry you have gone through this, far more distressing for you than her :hug:
