Urgh, she sounds like a woman on a mission and whilst the police have said there’s no offence, it must still feel like you can’t draw a line under it. What treatment can she still be receiving? She needs to move on

I can’t believe that woman really went to the police station, what is the matter with people . She can’t have much else going on in her life is all I can think.

At first I felt a little bit sorry for this woman but I’m well over it now. She needs to drop it and get on with her life...obviously it’s a rich vein of something for her and she’s mining it hard!

She probably went to A&E and had a dressing put on it with instructions to see her clinic's nurse to have it checked in a few days. That would count as "ongoing treatment".
Honestly, I can't see this going far at all. Try not to worry.

Some people are truly drama queens. I’m sure if she tried to take it further, having a photo of said pavement and explaining measures you took, she would be laughed away. What a joke!

To be honest she's a dick I didn't make that much fuss when I found out I had something badly wrong. Some people have no self control or ration perspective. It just so sad notice me! notice me!

As Rachael said, I had sympathy for her being angry/frightened/whatever at the time, even for reporting it. But to be pursuing it in the cold light of day? Really? It sounds like she is trying to prove a point. Maybe she has a history, which is stoking her fire. But it does sound like she doesn't have any sort of case that anyone would take seriously. @Jen's post is great.

Agree with @snowbunny. It is only natural to overreact in the heat of the moment, our previous experiences can dictate this, unfortunately. Usually though when we calm down and realise that actually, we are OK, things take on a more normal perspective, which is why this situation is odd. I do suspect an ulterior motive for her pursuing this, maybe she wants to claim some compensation? Love Jen's post, really lays it out in black and white. So sorry you have gone through this, far more distressing for you than her
