I'm anything but "quiet" normally but I've felt guilty lately about not keeping up with my regular reading and posting. I tend to go into hiding when I'm stressed and like the whole world right now, I'm stressed. I just kind of shut down the past weeks since I got back to the US. The Forum is the last place I go quiet, but it finally seeped down to here as well with the exception of Carbon's weekly SD training videos.

I'm trying to come out of my hole now, but I can see it's going to be starts and stops. Baby steps, I guess?

Most of all I want to say how grateful I am to this Forum. Thanks to the Forum - never forgetting the inestimable @snowbunny and her mod squad - I have made wonderful friends that I would never in a million years have in my life otherwise.

You guys are totally awesome!

(And yes, that atypical bit of Ameri-speak was to rib @Beanwood since I've managed to corrupt her proper British English. )

Hi everyone. I’m still here but have not posted recently. As the board has become increasingly a group of friends supporting one another rather than a dog training board I have felt uneasy about posting.

You are all lovely but I am unhappy about saying too much about my personal life on the internet. This is something that is driven by our adult children who rarely use Facebook, instagram or Snapchat.

I think for those people who are on restricted lockdown with lots of time, it might be really worthwhile to post up about the different ways we're finding to entertain our dogs!
