Too hot ?

Far too hot - and now we are no longer allowed to water the garden, or wash cars, or fill pools... I've lived here in Germany for 25 years, this is the first time this has ever happened!!

I still fill the dogs' paddling pool though. Secretly. At night. They have little opportunity otherwise to cool down...

Much cooler today! Yesterday felt surprisingly humid.

I have found myself yearning for the cold weather and gazing wistfully at my winter boots...:LOL:

We managed to escape the threat of thunderstorms once again, but still hardly any rain. The few rain drops we had sizzled and evaporated almost immediately on the paving, then another light shirt shower in the evening.

A bit cooler today but I doubt the respite will last long. Roll on November...

It's been unbearably humid here, even at night it's only slightly less hot as the sun is down. Last night we had a massive storm and it's still raining today and is a bit cooler (still so humid though)...Quinn prefers the humid, hot weather to rain! Really had to coax her out this morning

Yesterday was just so very very hot - thank goodness it is 6 degrees lower here today. Sky and Red found the cool tiles in the kitchen the best place to hang out. This last week, I have noticed how they move around the house alongside each other all of the time - they seem very close. It’s lovely ❤

I love your two girls and I love it that they love each other ❤.

I think we've been lucky here on the western side of the Uk, it's not been over 30 on many occasions, and a dry heat, not the humidity that we so often get. My house is on the cool side and with laminate floors, Cassie has been fortunate and able to stay cool.
Lovely to see Sky and Red so happy together .

It's been cooler here today too and the dogs have seemed more comfortable. It was so hot and humid yesterday that they were panting from time to time, even though they were just lying around. The back of the house is cooler and there's a tiled floor in one area, but they prefer to be where people are and my grandchildren are staying at the moment... so Tuppence has found a new favourite place to be, hot or not!

I feel a bit chilly! Pouring down here (and has been yesterday and all night) and only about 17c - bring back summer.:sun:
It's going to be 25 here today and it's still winter! The world is going mad. Cold change coming tonight and back down to high teens tomorrow. Its currently 8 at 7.30am so quite extreme

We have had an unseasonably warm winter. Temperatures of 15/16°c over the past few weeks. I don't even need the heat on during the day! I've been in the garden over the past week getting a head start on the spring tidy. It's crazy, August is the worst month usually. I was worried that we'd have a terrible winter since you had such a bad one in Europe, but nope.
