Actually I hadn't started on the alcohol when I somehow sent those photos x 3. That's not to say I didn't go on to have perhaps a drop more than was completely wise later on! It was the last night after all!

Yes! Sheer photographic genius! Took me ages to capture that shot! (Actually I didn't even notice it until Emily pointed it out, very observant as always). On our way home now and looking forward to a shower.

Yes, it was a particularly beautiful tree in one of the big fields where dogs could have a free run.

More adventures in the offing! Lovely Liz is driving up from Suffolk tomorrow, staying for two nights, then GGJ and I are going back down with her and staying at a dog friendly B&B on the way. I'm so much looking forward to this and I'm sure my Good Girl will take it all in her stride. Photos to follow in due course.

Here we are again in Suffolk and what a wonderful time we've had so far! Liz stayed with us, catching up with old friends for a couple of days. We then set off to Norfolk, Joy very happy with me on the back seat with harness/ seatbelt attachment and some Vetbed. We drove through Sunny Hunny and remembered @Atemas posting about it in the summer. We stayed at Thornham overnight to break the journey and had a good evening stroll on the Salt marshes. The Orange Tree, where we stayed was very dog friendly and Joy was showered with cuddles, praise for her shiny coat and for how good she was. She was also showered with treats, which she liked even better. On to Holkham today for a beach walk and retrieving games, followed by a stop off in the cafe. Then to Holt for essential supplies ( wine and pig's ears) then on down to Liz's house in Suffolk. A good time has been had by all and there's more to come tomorrow!
