If he has had nothing to eat and been pumped full of presumed laxatives would that not be expected? I guess this could all be bypassing the blockage? It could still come. At least it shows the bowel is doing something?
Sorry all rhetorical I don't expect you to know the answers.

We are all rooting for you Mas. Feel better soon.

Oh damn, that’s miserable - sorry it’s not better progress Leanne. Hoping for good solid movement overnight, and keep looking after yourself, you need your energy xxx

Apparently the meds force the stomach to contract more but the poo that is coming out is yellow and watery which wouldn’t be linkers they have said that they are taking him off that tonight at 7pm to see if that helps

Leanne, when Joy was so poorly with her abscess last year I became even more worried when she had to be transferred to a specialist hospital in Wakefield. However, that was where the answers were found, where I was given the most informed, meaningful and believable reassurance, and where I picked her up from, still recovering, but clearly so much better and her own little funny self again, just a day and a half later.
Also, as Jaqui-S says, the liquid could be bypassing the blockage and it could be yet to come. Nursing older people for many years, this was something we frequently saw, it was described as 'overflow'. (Apologies to anyone eating just now, but then we Labrador people have to have strong stomachs, don't we?) Thinking of you. Do remember to look after yourself, as others have said. Our young dogs are often more resilient than we expect them to be. Here's to the light at the end of this long dark tunnel finally appearing for you.:hug::hug:

Update
Just spoke to the vets update team. Still no poo. No diarreah though.

So maybe it’s now forming? :scared:

Now on 30 minutes feeds but just a mouthful of plain chicken at a time. They have had to take him out for several walks as he’s ‘singing’ very loudly apparently.
Having heard Mas sing on a regular basis they are in for a long night if the boy is not wanting to be kennelled.

OH is cooking and has been for about 5 hours now - it’s the one area where we are totally incompatiable. He gets stressed and cooks and feeds people, I get stressed and can’t even look at food.

Anyone for Apple crumble? Cheesecake? Some weird butternut concoction? 🙄
