Vacuum cleaners

I have the dyson animal (stick vacuum) and I like it - easy on hard floors and I use it a couple times a day easily. I use it on carpet too. I also have a robot vacuum that I run when we aren’t home and it helps, but I would definitely recommend the dyson over a robot vac.

hmmm....our dyson animal is definitely suffering, not quite up to the job, maybe just needs a bit of a clean with a compressor. I have bought a fabulous bissell crossover and really like it! I had one similar which although being a karcher, was not up to their usual standard. My Bissell crossover cleans and vacuums the hard and wood floors plus freshens up the big rug we have in the lounge. Really pleased with it.
Looking at investing in a shark vacuum perhaps, on various facebook pages they seem to be winning over the Dyson fans.

We've had a number of Dysons over the years. I had a cordless Dyson V6 which I'd use daily in the kitchen and was ok although battery life not great but I'd still Hoover at least once a week with the normal Dyson. The cordless didn't have the same power but was convenient unfortunately it started going dodgey and kept getting blocked and stuck. I recently got a cordless Dyson V11 animal. Expensive, the OH bought it me, but so far I'd say it compares well to the suction of a normal Dyson much more powerful than the original cordless models and on economy the battery lasts an hour which is plenty long enough for me.

I now have 3 Dysons - a cordless stick one for the stairs, along the edges of the settees and cobwebs on ceilings; an animal one for downstairs (one room carpeted, the rest tiled or wood/laminate); a smaller Dyson upright for upstairs. We have a lot of floor so it’s so good to have an upright for both downstairs and upstairs. Downstairs is vacuumed every day - sometimes twice. Hair is the bane of my life but the creature it comes off is so worth it ❤

Over the past 3 years I have gone through 2 Dysons - one upright & 1 cordless - they both struggled with carpets & Harleys hair. I’ve also had a Shark animal and it was below par and clogged up so quickly. I brought a GTech AirRam a few months ago and it is brilliant, very light and has scented inserts which leave the carpets smelling nice. It also works well on hard floors as well as carpets.
