Set off with Joy for the morning walk and after about ten minutes she did the lying on her back with her paws in the air thing again. I'm more worried this time. On Monday it was the third time in three years and she wasn't limping. Today it's the second time in six days and there was a definite dipping motion when she put weight on her left front leg, which is what seemed to be bothering her last time she was limping ( not counting the cut back paw this time last year!)
I managed to get her home, carrying her part of the way, which she doesn't like much but it was pouring with rain by then and she wasn't for moving. She seems perfectly happy now we're home but I really think it's time for an Xray. Last time the vet said that if it kept happening that would be the way to go. I've also realized that it never happens in the warmer weather, only in the Autumn and Winter, so I'm wondering if it's something that's exacerbated by cold and damp.
Poor little girl!

Poor little girl!

for Joy tomorrow. I hope she’s comfortable now she’s home.
