Yep, resting misery face like Carbon. On the bright side, I've got loads of happy photos of Reuben, so I know it's not permanent...unlike a certain Spanish Señor.

The tail , it waggeth non stop x On a more sensible note , I never ever realised how nasty this condition can be . The Vet said it was always worth checking it as it can, on odd occasions , be a damaged disc in the lower spine and in any case, they need some form of painkiller xx

It can be a sign of spondylitis in older dogs too. Glad hes on the mend

Oh Reuben, this is getting a bit much now , limping on his right leg . Last time it was his left leg when he had the NSAID which upset his tummy , the Vet gave me paracetamol back then, so I`ve given him these today, plus golden paste . No playgroup tomorrow and sadly no meeting with Carbon either , no walks apart from essential toilet ones . Somehow I have to try and curb his enthusiasm , he does not go round obstacles, he goes through them . No retrieving for a week or so my lad , he will be the death of me

So sorry Kate, Rourke had tendonitis of his shoulders and I did rest, investigation etc. I ended up giving him CBD two drops twice a day, 5mg Prednisone every other day, a pill from the vet which is supposed to be the same as Yumove Extra and Salmon oil. I now let him have an hour at least free running daily, he is still lame but happy. However, not as lame as he used to be!

I know its pathetic, but I have been in bits today, first his limp then his tail and now a limp on his other leg , what the hell am I doing wrong ? Be damned if I know to be honest , but rest he will have to have . I think he is just a clumsy dog, if thats possible xx
