Harley is a very dainty drinker. We had my friends Spinone stay last year and wow, he leaves streams of water everywhere. We ended up keeping towels in every room and had to dry everything (floors, his mouth & hair, sofas etc) several times a day!
I never take up the water bowl, but Harley will only drink if no other dog has drunk from it! She’s definitely a lady

Oh yes, I jumped back into bed and snuggled up to get warm - OH shrieked! Serves him right for not getting up to let the dog out

Homer never drank much water as a pup or young dog so we added water to his kibble. The first time he stayed over at his dog walker for a few nights he was a bit dehydrated when he came home. I’d forgotten to ask her to add water to his food. There was obviously water available for him he just didn’t drink. But recently he’s started drinking more water.

Plum’s not much of a drinker so I always add water or vegetable water to her kibble and she’s also very dainty with her slurping.

Maxx is a dribbler and leaves water all around his bowl and enjoys wiping his mouth on our legs. We put ice cubes in it during the summer and he loves to crunch them. But he doesn't crunch them over his bowl of course; he has to carry them in his mouth to his favourite mat (the good one in the loungeroom), crunch them all up and then go back for another one. So we end up ice skating across the mat if we don't notice it!
