Yesterday was a still day here, no rain or wind . Not sunny.

I got my grass cut !

Been raining overnight.

I'm sorry for your rain, we had three years of La Nina where it seemed to rain ALL the time and it was depressing

Oh lor, I hope we don't have three years of rain, the last nine months or so are bad enough

We've had a very cold and wet winter but today we had a weird warmth burst - 23 degrees! I think every household in Sydney had their washing machines going this morning. Maxx had an overdue bath, we washed his bedding, bed cover, the sheets he lies on when on a human bed, our clothes, all our winter woolies and everything dried on the line! yay! (not yay says Maxx). It is 4.15pm and I'm in a t-shirt in July! It will be short-lived as a cold change is coming tonight and crashing back down to winter temps....boo....but it was lovely for a day

Grey, dull and windy here, keeps feeling like it's going to rain, but doesn't. If it's not going to be sunny, I think I'd really rather it actually rained, then I wouldn't be watering the garden in the wind!

After a dull overcast but warm day here, seemingly threatening rain, the sun has come out and we have a glorious evening now.

So hot today. We topped 29 degrees. Harley didn’t have her trip to the park to people watch as was too hot by the time I was able to stop work for a break. My daughter and granddaughter are also with us so we spent a lot of today inside or under the oak tree in the garden.

We've had a warm winter burst with temperatures around 18-20 all week.

One week of warm weather and Ella's winter coat has started shedding

It's been just a touch breezy up here today! We chose our walk carefully thismorning, to avoid going under trees.
The local news is showing Leeds music festival being blown away (literally) by the wind, with tents flying through the air! GGJ and I are safe and snug though.

Yes I did early this morning. Difficult to avoid the trees entirely. The walk I chose was alongside bushes and younger trees. As I came level with a higher tree, a huge red kite flew out of the tree literally right in front of me. It made me jump, then I realised what it was and watched it fly off - what a sighting

We have had the strangest weather. The 2nd last day of winter it was 30 degrees - unheard of. Yesterday the maximum was 14 degrees which is colder than a typical day in winter. We have also had very heavy rain and gale-force winds....I said to Steve that perhaps the weather was preparing us for our winter sojourn to Europe and the UK

Thinking of everyone and those with friends and family in Florida and the US Gulf coast preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Milton on Wednesday. It’s looking very worrying at the moment x
