How can you possibly have leftover chocolate cheesecake ??????
Little Brother and Jenny had some with me on Thursday but by Friday evening we had all eaten so much that no-one could manage pudding. I can't eat half a cheesecake by myself so I have had to enlist the help of a kind volunteer. Fiona is a very helpful person so I knew I could rely on her!:giggl:

It was sunny but windy for Fiona's visit thisafternoon, so we sat in the garden with coats on, wrapped in blankets, drinking hot tea and eating chocolate cheesecake. It's the first time either of us has visited the other's home as we only met at the start of the first lockdown. It's also the first time we've seen each other wearing anything other than dog walking clothes, the first conversation we've had sitting down and not surrounded by 5-6 dogs up on the moor
and the first time we've had a cup of tea together!
We chatted non stop for two hours and agreed that for both of us the one good thing to come out of Covid is our friendship. We're both looking forward to being able to do more together, meals at each other's houses, trips to the seaside with our dogs, etc. We had a lovely afternoon!

Just fantastic - how lovely to have met such a good friend. You have lots to look forward to ❤
Yes, we've found it's uncanny how much we have in common. Fiona rang me on Friday to say she had a small something for me for Easter, so I invited her round for thisafternoon. I was going to a garden centre with my brother and Jenny on Friday afternoon and saw a pretty William Morris design plant pot there that I thought she'd like, so bought it for her and put some dog treats and chocolates in it. When I gave it to her today she said she had been admiring these very pots at her local garden centre on Friday afternoon. It turns out that it was the same one as we went to ( not so local for me but my local one was too busy which is why we went further afield) and she was there about half an hour before us!

How lovely that you have found a new friend @Candy

I saw one of my closest friends yesterday and we probably shouldn't have but we hugged for 5 solid minutes. I realised I hadn't hugged anyone apart from Steve for over a year.

The weather was incredible over Easter, high 20's and sunny. Only 7 weeks until winter so this is very strange; just like your snow in spring. The poor earth is going crazy
