Give a dog her tea, a stuffed Kong, light the Fireinametalbox and snow in April is clearly of no consequence whatsoever! Pee Ess, accompanied by the sound of gentle snoring. It seems a shame to disturb her by going to bed!

Yeah, half day today, thinking nice sunny walk with Lilly.
Dark clouds brewing as I drive home, then snow!
Cleared now but bitterly cold. Says 6 degrees but feels colder.
Had to scrape car windows this morning (-1)

Did you? Yeah it was kind of "bobbly" ice so I suspect it re-froze. And I couldn't find my screen spray, had to scrape it.

We had a swim today as it was warm; the solar heating had the water at 28 degrees.....but getting out there was a real nip in the air - brrrr. Tonight I've put on long pants (trousers), a fleece and my ugghies. Winter is coming! (Although next Wednesday is forecast to be 30 degrees. Madness)

It’s a bit cloudy today but at least the wind has dropped.

Tomorrow we are going to my brother’s farm for lunch to sit under the awning of their barn. It’s his birthday. They’ve decorated it and everything for outdoor visiting!

Tatze will love seeing Bryn, the Springer, again.

Beautiful sunny day today. Barbecue tea planned...temperature forecast to be 7° C by then - currently 5.7° C - hats & fleeces I think.

We had a good downpour yesterday. We sat out with a glass of wine at lunchtime, later on I fertilised the lawn and J watered it because there wasn't a cloud in the sky. An hour later, the heavens opened! It's a good thing; all the dry was making me feel very nervous about summer.

Woke up to an inch of snow! Had snow on the hills yesterday, very picturesque, didn't expect snow in the garden today.

We had loads of heavy hail showers yesterday which settled like snow . This morning the ground was crisp and crunchy but the sun is shining. My daughter was born 44 years ago today - it was snowing that day

Very cold here but the sky is blue and the sun is shining. Had a wonder round the garden with Hattie & Charlie and a sit on the bench just listening to the peace and quiet. Wonderful. xx
