My lawn

That’s exactly how our back lawn is - even though you thought from my photo it wasn’t. It is like a dirt track at the moment as the scarifier has got rid of the dead grass and most of the weeds. We look as though we are all getting some rain later this week/next weekend but it’s forecast 27 here tomorrow. Eventually we will need to do a load of reseeding. We have some uninvited residents in our garden - 2 pigeons - so reseeding will be difficult

Could be the way forward if it doesn’t grow back. I’m sure we will get lots of rain eventually.

Yes, it will be Wednesday evening when we have the end of term fun test and roast pork rolls and cake!

Rain has just started here - it’s absolutely torrential

A lovely warm sunny afternoon which followed very heavy rain this morning . So much so that our woodland walk was cut short , much to the joy of the small white one

You could plant something like clover the bees would love it

Well despite the forecast showing swirling blue clouds going over us for the last few days all we have had is 3mm of rain.

We had some rain yesterday and overnight but not enough yet to make any difference. The ground is so hard.

We thought the rain had gone but in the 24 hours from 9am Wednesday to 9am today was the wettest day since 1879! I can't describe it - diabolical.

The sun is out now thankfully but it has turned cold again. Warming up next week though and hopefully that is an awful winter done and dusted

Steve was in Far North Queensland looking at a property for our retirement and loving the 27 degrees and sunshine while Maxx and I huddled inside watching the torrential rain miserably. I'm still trying to keep Maxx a bit quiet in case his leg needs it but no walk for 2 days created zoomies that I couldn't stop. Gah! He seems fine though

Rain rain rain , of biblical proportions I no longer have a lawn, I have a swamp but my pond fish are loving it x

We've just had a loud and lovely thunderstorm! I love thunder and lightening, have to open the windows so I can hear it properly and smell the rain. Joy grumbled at it a tiny bit, but I don't think she was frightened, just making sure it knew who was boss. My water butts will soon be full again now.

We had beautiful blue sky today too. I did catch a brief, light shower though there were no rain clouds above, just blue!
