You two seem to have a lot of time off galivanting about :ROFLMAO:
Oops!
Feeling guilty now :giggl:
Well obvs with us not going away on a plane anywhere, our hols have been with the dogs which is why we are posting.
Just to warn you, we are going away again at the end of October with OH to somewhere North of North  At the end of October instead of a week in the sun in Gran Canaria.

In actual fact, before Covid, OH used to be away almost every weekend with the band, so Sophie and I decided it was an opportunity to get out and about to do doggy walking things without OH. And because he had the odd extended trip to Germany or South of England, and even his cruise from Miami (all without us of course) he actually encouraged us to go off and do things ourselves. So we did. And we are
And we enjoy bringing you guys along for company should you wish to join us.

passing Cruachan, the hollow mountain.
Its currently closed due to Covid, but a fascinating place and if you are ever in the area I would highly recommend a visit. It is a water-fuelled power station (much, much sexier than it sounds) and an enormous engineering feat
I love to visit places like this. I've been to Electric Mountain at Llanberis in North Wales. Totally amazing. Totally hidden.

Thought I would start with a rough idea of where we are staying. Just a little below this arrow you might see the property where the cottages are.

The road up to it looks like this..... it is very steep, narrow and twisty. Wouldn't want to attempt it in winter20200829_165931.jpg

So to start today, we drove a short way to Croabh Haven to check out our plans for dinner. I believe Princess Anne has/had a boat moored here.20200829_095232.jpg20200829_095328.jpg20200829_095434.jpg
I loved this bronze dog tethered outside the Chandler's :giggl:
