Oooh we've sailed through that on a RIB. Great fun.Just in the middle here, level with the wee tail of island you can see on the right is the Corryvreckan whirlpool.

We stayed on Seil Island (twice) when went to the Corryvreckan whirlpool. The first time it chucked it down all week which is why we went back. We took Belle the second time and she fell into a well on Easdale - it was flat on the ground, full to the top, but covered in weed. She didn't like swimming and looked so indignant, front feet on either side. We had to haul her out by her collar. All green.Last one for today.....the Bridge Across The Atlantic......

Thank you, stalwart readers!
Sounds perfect! I have happy memories of doing similar in the Lake District with my lovely Mum many years ago, except we didn't have dogs. I seem to remember that we laughed and giggled so much that our sides ached the next day! Very happy memories. Very special and treasured times. I was so lucky.Thank you, stalwart readers!
I'm sure it's not of interest to everyone, but I enjoy sharing photos of our walks and this is less public than FB

We drove to Ellenabeaich (Sophie said I should specify that SHE drove) and parked up looking over to Easdale, listening to the lapping waves on the shore. Didn't even get the dogs out, they were zonked. And, in the spirit of honesty, so was Sophie for a quick 10 mins.
Another good day followed by pizza and a shared bottle of prosecco hic.

But without the blistersits like being there with you
