What made you smile today?

Smiling at wonderful customer service, for a change ! My lovely friend has just had surgery for breast cancer , so I sent some flowers via Bloom & Wild , as they pick small blooms so that the box will go through a letterbox . They should have been delivered yesterday, but the postman did not attempt to put them through the letterbox as instructed , and my friend was having a nap and didnt hear the knock at the door , her husband had taken their dog for a walk . I received an apology from Bloom & Wild , all has been resolved as the flowers have been collected by her husband from the postal depot . However , as I had included a card with Feel Better Soon on it , Bloom & Wild understood that this was an important delivery , they have contacted me to offer to send some chocolates to my friend by way of apology for the flowers having to be collected , isnt that lovely ? xxx

UK Tour Guide
Smiling about our morning 😊. After the last few weeks of frantic Horticultural show stuff and family stuff, we said we’d have a lazy weekend. We decided we’d go to the local garden centre and get our winter flowering plants. Then on the way back we realised we needed more compost. So we bought the plants home and immediately set off to another garden centre where we always get compost from. On the way we were passing a building where they sell conservatory furniture. F said ‘shall we just have a look?’ We had promised ourselves new conservatory furniture next year. 20 minutes later we had purchased new furniture which will be delivered at 5 this afternoon!!! We then bought loads of compost. Got home and bundled the old settee in the one car and the old cane chair in my car. Off to the household refuse centre with those. Back home, cleaning the conservatory ready for new furniture. Phew. I have just sat down for a break. So much for a lazy weekend!
